The DFCC Bank Anuradhapura Branch proudly participated in a medical camp organised by the Lions Club of Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka College of Military Medicine (SLCOMM). This esteemed body comprises medical professionals from the Sri Lanka Army, Navy, and Air Force. The event took place on the 6th of October 2024 at Thanthirimale Raja Maha Viharaya, drawing approximately 1,000 local villagers.
A key highlight was DFCC Bank’s focus on its Aloka support programme. The Bank conducted financial literacy sessions and showcased its Aloka savings accounts, aimed at raising awareness and enhancing financial knowledge within the community. Furthermore, DFCC Bank promoted its Junior Savings accounts, encouraging children to develop good savings habits from an early age.
To further support the community’s financial growth, the Bank introduced its Investment Planner service, designed to help families and individuals make informed investment decisions for their futures. Additionally, to support expectant mothers, DFCC Bank donated Aloka umbrellas to attendees, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing the lives of families in the region.
