The DFCC Green Deposit is a pioneering fixed deposit product introduced to promote sustainable green investments, environmental protection, and climate change mitigation. Funds raised through DFCC Green Deposits are exclusively allocated to financing sustainability-driven projects, in line with the Green Finance Taxonomy of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

These projects include hydropower, waste-to-energy, and water recycling initiatives. DFCC Bank is proud to be Sri Lanka’s first financial institution to introduce a green deposit product, actively encouraging responsible financing for a better future.

Eligibility/How to Get

Available to individuals (over 18 years of age) and corporate entities.

Required documents include:
- Proof of identity: National ID card, passport, or driver’s licence.
- Proof of address (if different from ID): Recent utility bill or Gramasevaka certificate.
