Who Can Apply? 

Safe Deposit Lockers can be rented for: 

• Individual customers - singly or jointly 

• Trusts  

• Societies, clubs and associations  

• Proprietorships  

• Partnerships  

• Limited liability companies 

In the case of Partnerships, Trusts, Clubs, Societies, Associations and Limited Liability Companies they should have the clearance by the constitution to maintain lockers and the persons authorized to maintain such lockers should be appointed through a resolution by the members/directors of those firms.

How to Get a Safe Deposit Locker 

1. Select your preferred DFCC Bank branch offering Safe Deposit Lockers.  

2. Contact the branch, call 0112 350000, or email care@dfccbank.com to confirm locker availability.  

3. Confirm the available locker size and required documentation.  

4. Visit the selected branch & complete the following documents;  

• Application for the Safe Deposit Locker  

• Locker Agreement  

• Letter of set-off for the security deposit  

5. Once approved, DFCC Bank will provide guidance on locker access procedures.

1. At which DFCC Bank branches are Safe Deposit Lockers available?  

DFCC Bank Safe Deposit Lockers are currently available at the Negombo, Pinnacle Center, Kurunegala, Kiribathgoda, Maharagama, Dambulla, Kotahena and Ramanayake Mawatha Branches. The facility is expected to be available at the DFCC Head Office and Priority Centre from 03 August 2026.

No. Safe Deposit Lockers are available only at selected DFCC Bank branches. Customers are advised to refer to the list of available locations and contact DFCC Bank to confirm availability before visiting.
