DFCC Bank Conducted a Workshop for MSME Women Entrepreneurs

DFCC Bank conducted a workshop targeting small and medium scale Women Entrepreneurs on Saturday 19th March at the Hotel Indoora Kurunegala. Nearly 75 Women Entrepreneurs attended the workshop. The team was able to open 25 Aloka accounts and there were several inquiries for MSME Loans, Credit Cards and Current Accounts.

Priority was given to the existing customers who were able to successfully scale up their business to a satisfactory level. It was also open to non-customers as well depending on the availability of the seats. The Resource Person was Dr. Rukmal Weerasinghe – Chairman, Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Dept. of Entrepreneurship, University of Jayawardenepura.
