GCF – Latest News / Updates

A Project Idea Prioritisation Workshop for the development of three Green Climate Fund (GCF) Concept Notes under the “2nd NDA Readiness Project” organised by the Global Water Partnership (South Asia) and the Climate Secretariat of the Ministry of Environment (which is the National Designated Authority (NDA) of the GCF for Sri Lanka) was held on 23 November 2023 at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) in Battaramulla.

The 2nd NDA Readiness Project aims to strengthen the capacity of Direct Access Entities (DAEs), NDA and GCF project programming stakeholders in Sri Lanka to access climate finance through enhanced strategic frameworks for stakeholder engagement and a strengthened project pipeline.

Nalin Karunatileka (Vice President- Sustainability and Consulting) and Senaka Jayasiinghe (Adviser- Sustainability) represented DFCC Bank at this workshop.
