DFCC Bank awards scholarships at the “Financial Grants Awarding Ceremony” for the children of War Heroes

DFCC Bank, one of Sri Lanka’s full service Commercial banks partnered with the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force to award scholarships to the children of war heroes at the “Financial Grants Awarding Ceremony” which took place recently.
The event was held at the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksha Theatre and the occasion was graced by the Acting Chief of Defense Servicers Army Commandant Lieutenant General L H Shavendra Silva, Commandant Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Major General Jagath Gunawardane and the CEO of DFCC Bank Mr.Lakshman Silva and other officials of Sri Lanka Army and DFCC Bank.
DFCC Bank awarded 250 students with “DFCC Junior” accounts that offers a range of gifts with incredible rewards as their savings grow. These 250 students were also gifted with a valuable stationery pack at this occasion.
