The ‘සැමටEnglish’ program has been conceptualized with the prime intent of cultivating linguistic ability amongst youth and empowering them to communicate with a global audience by possessing the required skills to meet the demands of an ever-evolving economic landscape. Launched in 2017, in partnership with the Gateway Language Institute, participants are trained in English language soft skills; leadership, time management, presentation and writing, and interviewee skills, all of which are invaluable skills in today’s job market, thus ensuring the participants excel in their careers.
Upon successful completion of the program, the top achievers across the regions are offered the opportunity to join the Bank as interns, creating opportunities for them to apply what they have learnt, gain work experience, and further develop their skills. DFCC Bank continued to deliver these sessions online, despite the pandemic, as we believe that constant effort is necessary to educate our nation’s children.
