ASSISTANT MANAGER – STRATEGIC PLANNING AND PERFORMANCE – STRATEGIC PLANNING DEPARTMENT

You should ideally;

  • possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in business planning, MIS, performance management, or related roles within the banking or financial services industry
  • experience in data analytics and financial modeling will be an advantage 
  • possess a degree/full professional qualification acceptable to the bank, preferably in business administration, economics, banking & finance or accounting 
  • having relevant certifications in MIS tools, data analytics, or performance management will be a definite advantage
  • possess a good knowledge of the “Business of Banking”, behavior of financial and capital markets, customer behavior and general economic conditions
  • possess excellent computing skills in data visualization tools (MS Power BI/ Tableau), spreadsheets (MS Excel/ WPS Office/ Google Sheets) and core banking systems, presentation tools such as MS PowerPoint, and Google Slides
  • have the ability to understand complex and often incomplete requirements of business users and convert same to functional data stories
  • possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • be an excellent team player supporting the department team as well the bank team to bring out their best performance

You will be responsible for;

  • assisting in the preparation of the bank budget
  • performance data interpretation and presentation
  • KPI setting, performance monitoring and performance evaluation
  • supporting, assisting and guiding the other planning staff on routine activities
