You should ideally:

• possess minimum 4 years of relevant experience in banking/financial institution  
• have full or part qualification in AAT, or have part qualifications in ICASL, CIMA, CIM, IBSL, or ACCA
• possess knowledge in system access policy and procedures
• possess knowledge in bank operational manual and approving matrix of the Bank
• possess knowledge in banking systems
• possess knowledge in handling audit queries
• have strong capabilities in organizing, analyzing information, and preparing reports

You will be mainly responsible for::

• ensuring timely and accurate execution of all clearing-related functions, including inward, float realization and outward submissions as per SLA
• processing INWD clearing tasks, scrutinizing cheques, managing volumes and maintaining compliance while reporting GL balances and preparing statistics
• handling OWD clearing and manual INWD returns efficiently, ensuring policy compliance, daily GL checks and timely reporting
• correcting and rejecting SLIPS items in the core system while adhering to operational guidelines and maintaining team coordination
• managing and supporting system-related projects and improvements, including UAT testing, issue resolution and process enhancements
• performing RTGS operations accurately and promptly, ensuring fund crediting, charge waivers and compliance with central bank and LankaClear guidelines
