DFCC Bank pays tribute to Customers for their support towards “DFCC Digital Dansala”, which has raised over a million rupees towards uplifting communities.

DFCC Bank’s Digital Dansala initiative powered by the DFCC Virtual Wallet, which is the only hybrid wallet in the Banking Industry, has seen an overwhelming response since its launch whereby customers, the bank and its employees and well-wishers have made donations reaching over a million rupees within a short span of 3 weeks.
This initiative which supports the Bank’s sustainability strategy towards building resilient communities has provided dry rations to communities located in areas that were hindered with travel restrictions and the pandemic. Some of the recipients who were assisted through this generous deed were residents in Jaffna, Wellawaya, Bandarawela, Nuwaraeliya, Badulla, Hatton, Monaragala, Embilipitiya, Welimada, Balangoda, Buttala, Bible, Mahiyanganaya, Godakawela, Matale, Matara, Radampala, Akuressa, Ambalanthota, Puttalam, Colombo, Nawala, Nugegoda, and Malabe etc; including the bank’s branch network of 139 locations islandwide.
